Why Improv?
Improv gives participants the freedom to express themselves and share ideas in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. By being spontaneous, individuals discover their true selves and learn that everyone has something valuable to contribute. Improv encourages flexibility, collaboration, and trust, and often brings laughter, energizing and relaxing the group while creating meaningful social connections.
At CreatAbility, we take these principles and apply them to developing social and communication skills for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Participants also strengthen executive functioning, improve focus, adapt to change, and enhance creativity. Most importantly, they build confidence, positive self-image, and lasting friendships—all while having fun
Improv Group Classes
